About The Project
This project included a base building shell and core above ground mechanical installation (plumbing, HVAC, and controls) for a 400,000 sq. ft. LEED® Silver production facility. Division 15 provided full mechanical services to offices and lab spaces as part of the base building scope, and process connections for the specialized process equipment being installed by others. We participated in 3D BIM coordination with the owner’s process equipment design.
The HVAC scope included seven major AHUs, five MUAs, nine RTUs, eleven air conditioning units and extensive ductwork throughout the facility. The plumbing scope included a 12” diameter water entry room, 6” diameter domestic water distribution through the facility including the office spaces, labs, complete washroom groups and capped future connections. The controls scope included full DDC control of the building’s HVAC system.
