About The Project
Division 15, as the prime contractor, completed the first phase of the North East False Creek District Energy System with two steam to hot water conversion stations for the new PARQ Casino & Resort and Rogers Arena South Tower buildings.
The primary heating water will provide building space heating and domestic water heating using a secondary Energy Transfer Station within several new buildings, including the PARQ Casino & Resort, Rogers Arena South Tower and One Pacific Residential buildings.
The design incorporates heat recovery systems such as utilizing the steam condensate to pre-heat the primary heating return water prior to being returned the steam plant for further energy recovery.
