About The Project
This AbCellera pharmaceutical manufacturing facility is the first of its kind in Canada. The 130,000 square foot Vancouver facility aims to accelerate the development of antibody-based therapies for an array of medical conditions, and at full capacity will employ hundreds of highly skilled scientific personnel. It will house laboratory, office, GMP protein biologic manufacturing, and warehouse space.
Division 15's mechanical scope included complete supply and installation of all HVAC, plumbing and associated controls up to the clean rooms. The scope involved specialized laboratory requirements such as cleanroom utilities, process gases, specific material requirements, redundancy for air equipment, and these specialized systems required specialized subtrades and suppliers.
