About The Project
This 57,000 sq. ft. LEED ® Gold project included new construction for the West Vancouver Police Department as well as additional office space for the existing Municipal Hall, and a brand new service hub for the public. The existing municipal hall facility remained open throughout the construction process. We were proud to earn a 2018 VRCA Gold Award of Excellence for this project.
The building is intended to serve emergency personnel, which required Division 15 to meet post-disaster requirements, inclusive of sanitary and domestic cold water storage as well as fuel oil systems to provide heating in the event of a disaster, and a backup generator to provide electricity.
