About The Project
The goal of this project was to upgrade Langara’s heating system with a District Heating system which will serve the entire campus and multiple buildings. This upgrade will result in improved energy efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.
Division 15 performed the mechanical installation within an active campus while maintaining operation of the building HVAC systems with minimal service interruptions.
The District Heating system reduced GHG by 25% which is very significant for an institution of 700,000 sq. ft.
