About The Project
AbCellera Manitoba Street is a 14,670 sq ft lab developed for AbCellera Biologics Inc. This is a tenant improvement to the existing lab building at 2131 Manitoba Street, Vancouver, BC. There are interior tenant improvements to Level 1-4 for offices and laboratories.
The project was a fast-tracked project that received federal funding and private grants as part of the national effort to increase Canada’s ability to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as to bolster Canada’s biomedical self-reliance.
The tenant improvement consists of incorporating various lab grade services such as De-Ionized water, CO2, Vacuum & Nitrogen etc. A new HVAC system is also installed and retrofitted into the existing HVAC system in the building.
